Hey everyone! So, I am very excited for the upcoming month as an artist. As many of you know, I have been participating in #inktober for 2018. You can view my pieces on twitter or instagram! Upon completion, everything will be uploaded to my facebook page.
There are only a couple more days left in this challenge, and I am proud to say so far I have stuck through it. It was a ton of work, and some days I was more driven than others, which is shown in the quality of my pieces. All in all, I feel like I learned a lot and have become worlds more proficient at inking than I was at the beginning of the month. Inktober aside, I am writing this post to give you an idea of what November 2018 is going to look like.
Commissions
So, to begin, commission are CLOSED for November, except on a limited basis Why and what does that mean for me?
I have several commissions in back log that are time sensitive. This includes a reference sheet, a detailed illustration, and a few full color pictures. I am going to take the beginning of the month to catch up and complete my queue. If you have paid for a commission from me, congrats! It will be worked on soon. Hopefully I can set up picarto to stream that work (more on that later!) If you want a commission from me, but haven't gotten the opportunity to, don't fret! Commissions will be reopening in December or January. I will post updates on social media to that affect. Will you be open for anything? Yes! The shop will still be open for magnets, stickers and prints. Also, I may open commission slots on a limited basis, likely either badges or studies. These will be posted on Twitter and Instagram. Studies, Personal Pieces, and More!
StudiesInktober was as not only helpful in improving my lineart, but also incredibly informative about where my weakness lies in art. So, I will spend a lot of the month working on those weaknesses. This means spending a lot of time research and practicing color tutorials, doing anatomy studies, and expanding my overall skill set.
Personal Pieces I have a lot of ideas, but between commissions and vendor events, not a lot of time to work on them. I am going to take time this month to make some of my own ideas come to life.
